This study examines the relationship between the application of financial technology (Fintech) and enhancing risk assessment and developing internal control mechanisms in the Egyptian banking sector. The study examines the case study of four Egyptian banks; the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, and the Commercial International Bank, to obtain the opinions of employees on with in the period from 2020 to 2024. The results showed a clear role of Fintech application and enhancing risk assessment in the banking sector. The research also proves the existence of a positive relationship between the application of Fintech methods and internal control mechanisms development in the banking sector, which increases the effectiveness of risk management, and thus contributes to rational decision making and better understanding of potential risks. This study also contributes significantly to the existing literature by shedding light on the relationships between the application of Fintech methods, risk assessment, and the development of internal control mechanisms in the Egyptian banking sector
